North London Loop

I'll be heading out tomorrow morning with Simon on a 110km route around North London. I've never ridden the route before. Although I know what to expect in the first and last sections of the route, urban sprawl, it will be interesting to see what kind of elevation we'll experience in the second half.

Simon has recently come back from a sabbatical in Arizona where he's been spending alot of time on his bike putting in some serious distance training. I'm not sure if this is true but another friend of mine, James, told me Simon finished second in the recent White Rose Classic sportive. I'll have to qualify this with Simon when I see him in the morning (8am ouch!). If it's true then I can expect to be dropped and sharpish. Oh dear!
